Dao (刀)

Wo Dao (a type of Japanese-style saber) is a one-handed sword. It has a slender shape with an accelerating curve toward the tip, characteristic of swords from the Ming to early Qing dynasties. It features a ridged cross-section, similar to the style of Japanese swords, but lacks the distinctive kissaki (tip) of Japanese swords.
