The MeDen Overlord isn’t here to make friends. This is a schiltless feder built lean, mean, and brutally efficient.
Schilt? That’s for medieval uncles without modern tech. Today we design with safety and aesthetics in mind, delivering a blade that feels close to a real sword yet stays competition-legal and sparring-safe. No fuller either – it only makes things pricey, weak, and unnecessary. Instead, you get a clean flat surface, perfect for laser engraving or doodling your warlord logo.
Purrfectly balanced. Not super fast (none of that sporty-nonsense), safe in thrusts, and with cuts that land more like a slap than a truck. The geometry lets you swing with aerodynamic efficiency while keeping sparring safe and under control.
Construction: full-tang blade, tuned balance, one-of-a-kind safety tip for modern fencers.

Blade material – Carbon spring steel 1066: highly wear-resistant, excellent elastic bend-recovery, hard to break in normal use. Quenched-and-tempered to ~48–50 HRC. Blade flexibility is about 13 – 15kg.

Full tang from tip to pommel for maximum structural integrity.

Removable / swapable guard – Guard can be removed or swapped to taste: boring straight-guard, fancy golden-ratio curved guard, “Lord-of-the-Ring” style, Katzbalger guard, with 1 or 2 side rings, tiny Chinese-style guard, or stripped down for cheap/easier transport. Guards offered in carbon-steel (mounted vertically for stiffness and resistance to warping) or stainless option (low-maintenance, corrosion resistant) depending on raider’s need or whim.

Pommel – 304 stainless pommel reduces maintenance and won’t rust; peened, so it won’t shear off mid-session (no END HIM RIGHTLY). Optionally can be welded solid if preferred; or leave it freely-spinning pommel (fidget-spinner effect) for ADHD fencers.

Reinforced tip – Tip is not only spatulated but has an added clamped material layer making the point thicker and stronger — an extra safety barrier in case other tipping methods fail (patent-not-pending – safety for humanity).
